Between Your Letter and My Reply

Damien, a boy raised in an orphanage, discovers that his benefactor was his biological father, and, seeking to escape the shadow of his family, throws himself into a foreign war. Amidst this desolate time, he finds himself in a battlefield with no reason to survive, no purpose. One day, a letter arrives, like a spring breeze. “Hello, a soldier whose name and face I don’t know. I’m delighted to have met you. I’m a young lady from a humble family living in a beautiful countryside. I’m not a particularly impressive person, so I have nothing to introduce myself to.” A noblewoman introduces herself as Lintrey.
